The elegant main house is set amidst twenty-five acres
of lawns, gardens, meadows and woods and commands a sweeping
view of the Potomac River. The house which is registered
as a "Gentleman's Home" by the Fairfax County
Historical Society, includes a 45x20 ballroom with a tastefully
appointed powder room, a large parlor overlooking the
river, dining room opening onto broad covered porches
with garden and river views, a charming entrance hall
featuring a hand painted floral frieze. The large, state
of the art country kitchen is available to caterers for
preparation and heating of food. The garden flagstone
patio has a permanent 30x80 tent for outside dining.

Museum of Women in the Arts offers the setting to make
your event an unforgettable one. Guests are greeted by
a luxurious marble reception area and ballroom adorned
by three beautiful crystal chandeliers and works of art
from our permanent collection. White marble staircases
sweep upward to the spacious Mezzanine. The Museum can
accommodate seating from 100 to 400 guests. An adjacent
caterer's kitchen makes the space extremely practical.
